Another popular typical dish is Calcione of Laverino (Lu Cargione di Laverino).

The shape vaguely resembles that of the Crescia Fogliata and the main ingredients are ricotta and country herbs; the organoleptic characteristics are enhanced by the mint that grows spontaneously in our meadows. The thin puff pastry, laid strictly by hand, is made of flour, water and salt.

A dish to taste on any occasion as an appetizer or, even better, accompanied by typical local cold cuts and cheeses.
