The route leads to a place of great historical value, among the oldest in the area. Past the Church of St. Leopardo, the road winds along the ridge to the slopes of Monte San Vicino, then on a short unpaved road in the woods, until the hermit settlement of late medieval origin. The hermitage is historically remembered for the important Capuchin reform of 1529.
