Torre dell’Onglavina or Rocca dell’Onglavina (Onglavina Tower), built on a high spur of sandstone with a view that stretches from the Sibillini Mountains to the Majella massif and to the Gran Sasso, to Mount Conero and the Adriatic Sea.
It was erected in the 11th century together with the Elce and the Cassero, conceived as a fortress to withstand enemy attacks.
