Loc. Laverino

Always open

“Rocca di Santa Lucia” (St. Lucia Fortress), also named “di Laverino”, was founded in 1020 and inhabited during the 12th century by the Cavalca family, who then erected a new building block for residential use in place of the original tower. A third building, more elegant than the previous ones, was then added in the 13th century.

Thanks to a recent renovation, it’s now possible to visit it, climbing
from Colle di Brescia through a dirt road.

The entry is free with no need of reservation.
