The City Hall was built in 1854 on a project by Senigallia-born architect Vincenzo Ghinelli. Its brick façade and the Neoclassical style characterise the building with a simple yet elegant style.
Inside the building, particularly in the lobby and along the monumental staircase, is preserved a lapidarium, established at the end of the 19th century. It is the result of the collection of marble and calcareous stone materials of epigraphic, sculptural, and architectonic ionterest.
