Follow, the Franciscan pathway for the stretch that leads to the valley floor.

  • Continuing downhill on the main path, walking inside a forest rich in smoke trees, you arrive at the bottom of the valley that, going up, tightens until it becomes a hole.
  • Once out of the gorge, go up to the left, inside the holm wood, and you will find the Grotta de Lu Fittucciu, the Grotta dell’Elce and the beautiful and suggestive Forra dell’Elce.
  • Going down you return to the cart track that leads to the valley floor, which is slightly uphill.
